On June 10th of this year, journalist Merlyn Ochoa, from the Televistazo program, who is covering the news about the unfortunate case of Monika Silva, took a statement from Alfonso Ortiz, executive secretary of Mochica Sumpa and close friend of the deceased anti-corruption activist Monika Silva.
In his statement, attorney Ortiz strongly urged the authorities to conduct a thorough investigation to uncover the truth behind Monika Silva Koniuszek's death. He also requested that the authorities take custody of her cell phone and other documents, given the sensitive information she contained regarding acts of corruption.
