The unnecessary waste of money continues, by hiring the company DELOITTE & TOUCHE ECUADOR for an a priori study on the Targeting of the Fuel Subsidy.
Yesterday, on the Politically Irreverent Program presented by Mario Quintana, the topic of Fuel Targeting Studies was discussed.
Constitutional President Guillermo Lasso Mendoza has requested that the private company Deloitte & Touche Ecuador conduct a study on Fuel Targeting in the short term; however, a proposal has already been submitted to the Government by the Army University ESPE and its public company ESPE – INNOVATIVA EP, together with the Chamber of Heavy Transport and Environment, for the same study which has ZERO COST for the State.
Alfonso Ortiz Cobo expressed his discontent with the Constitutional President's decision in a video posted on social media. He commented on the ESPE – INNOVATIVA EP Project, which has not been discussed or taken into account. This prompted the Politically Irreverent Program to use the video to express their outrage, arguing that the unnecessary expenditure of resources cannot continue, especially in these times of crisis.
