Productive meeting at the Citizen Participation Council.

The Sumpa Human Rights, Eco-Environmental and Cultural Corporation held a fruitful meeting this afternoon, Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at the Council for Citizen Participation and Social Control in which we have agreed to sign an inter-institutional participation agreement.

Present were Edgardo Marcet, National Coordinator of Citizen Oversight, Alfaro Vallejo, Sub-coordinator of Social Control, Víctor Cardozo, National Technician of Social Control of the CPCCS, and Alfonso Ortiz Cobo, Executive Secretary of the Mochica Sumpa Human Rights Corporation.

The aim is to seek the active participation that rests on the power of the citizens and its value so that it is taken into account in decision-making, since we must remember that all government entities are accountable to the people.
